sophisticated indoor growing system.
Arrested and charged

deliver marijuana were Dr.
John F. Wiltz, 45. and his
wife; Judy, 41, of Point
Pleasant.
Wiltz is the Chief of
Pediatrics at Pleasant.
Valley Hospital.
The pair are incarcerated

But tracking down people
thut were scheduled to fly
that fateful day wasn't an
easy task.
Linda Carney, manager of
the Gallipolis AAA Office,
said that Sept. ll, 2001.
brought many phone calls
and lots offrustration.
The local travel agent's
communication system with
the airlines was jammed with
people trying to locate family
and friends.
"We just sntthere and redi·
uled the phone. We were
telling people to watch tele·
vision because the banner
lines at the bottom of the
screen had the most current
lists of who wns on what
flight and wht'ch nt'gh.ts were
stranded where.
"We had· doubled our
incoming phone culls that

won't fly at all now," Carney

"We found more people are

year. 14 percent through
July."

more cruises and a definite
decrease in international
travel.
"I actually questioned
whether I would continue in
the travel business and I've
been doin~ this for 20 years,"

He added he would like to see local

He also reported that playground
equipment at Waterworks Park has

mcnt plant has been fully funded.

San Francisco beat the Los

Tuesday night for a one-game
lead in the NL wild-card race.
The Giants have won five
sl!'aight and 13 of 16 to take
over the wild-card lead for
the first time since Aug. 13.
"It has been a different guy
