            <text>Carol Mace, 77 of Athens, passed away unexpectedly while traveling at the Mayo Clinic Health System Saturday, June 15, 2024 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Born May 21, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late William &amp; Alice Good Pinegar.&#13;
&#13;
She is survived by her beloved husband, Larry Mace; two sons, Dennis (Cindy) Mace, Joe Smith; two daughters, Della (Gene) Clark, Denise Foose; five grandchildren, Larry Mace, II, Ashley Mace, Danny Clark, Carol Clark, Brennen Foose; six great-grandchildren, Noah Mace, Nicolai Mace, Lilly Hagler, Ayden Hagler, Austin Hagler, Chase Darst; one great-great-grandchild, Olivia Howard; one brother, Joe (Kathy) Pinegar; and one sister.&#13;

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchild, Blake Foose.&#13;

Arrangements are entrusted to Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Burial will follow in New Marshfield Cemetery. You may call upon the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11AM - 1PM. Those who wish to sign the online guestbook are encouraged to at the funeral home website, www.ehwfh.com.</text>
