            <text>Evalena Jane Pauley, 90, of Portland, passed away, at 6:34 a.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024 surrounded by her family in the Ravenswood Care Center, Ravenswood, West Virginia. Born September 11, 1933, in Statts Mill, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ova and Elva Fisher Fields. Evalena Devoted her life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and her family and friends. She was a homemaker.&#13;
&#13;
She is survived by her children, Curtis Price, of Portland, Patrica (Tim) Boyce, Ravenswood, WV., and James (Brooke) Pauley, of Mason, WV., grandchildren, Eric Boyce, Jesse Boyce, Isaiah (Jordon) Pauley, Abram (Autumn) Pauley, and Abigail Pauley, great-grandsons, Dayton and Shepherd Pauley. Her siblings, Iva Walker, of Ripley, WV., Alma (William) Combs, of Apple Grove, Thelma (Don) Mace, Alta (Rondel) Crihfield, of Kentuck, Sharon (Earl) Crihfield, of Kentuck, Romey (Catana) Fields, of Kentuck, and Charles Fields, of Milwood, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Garfield Pauley, Jr., sisters, Dotty Jean Fields, Nancy (Willard) Carney, brothers, Holly Fields, Filbert (Sue) Fields, and Arnold Fields.&#13;

Graveside services will be held on at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2024 in the Bald Knobb Cemetery with Pastor Isaiah Pauley officiating and interment will follow. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine is entrusted with Evalena’s</text>
