            <text>Mykael Travis Gardner-Hoover, 21, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away following complications Monday, March 11, 2024 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. Mykael was born June 25, 2002 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of Jillian Burris and Josh Hoover, both of Proctorville, Ohio.&#13;
&#13;
Affectionately known as “Skoot”, he loved his family and friends fiercely. He enjoyed music, video gaming, fishing, swimming, cooking, wrestling, movies and spending time with his best friend, his sister, Markeya.&#13;
&#13;
Mykael leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Jillian and Josh, his sisters, Markeya Gardner and Addison Hoover, and brother, Memphis Hoover, all of Proctorville; aunt, Shannyn Seward-Lucy, Gallipolis, Ohio; uncle, Jason Lucy, Point Pleasant, West Virginia; cousins: Ethyn Seward-Lucy, Carwyn Seward-Lucy, Ravyn Seward-Lucy and Irelyn Seward-Sinclair. Also missing Mykael are his girlfriend, Haley Thompson and special friend, Cody Janes as well as several other extended family members.&#13;
&#13;
Mykael is preceded by maternal grandparents, Mark and Cheryl Seward.&#13;
&#13;
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 at 2:00-4:00 PM in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio with Cremation to follow.&#13;
&#13;
