She was born November 24, 1942, in Atwood, Kansas, a daughter of the late Claude James and Mabel (Wahl) James. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Bill Davis; brothers, Marshall and Jim James and sister, Claudette. Kathryn was the previous Director of the Mason Senior Center with many years of faithful service and had worked as a waitress for several companies. She attended the Mason United Methodist Church and was a life-time member of the Stewart Johnson V.F.W. Post 9926, Mason, WV. Kathryn loved her flowers, dogs, and playing BINGO. Survivors include her sons, Chris Davis and his wife, Jill of Clifton, Bodie Davis (Jacki Russell) of Hartford; grandchildren, B.J. Davis and his wife, Mallory of New Haven, Aaron Davis and his wife, Julia of Mason, Jamie Davis and his wife, Amber of Syracuse, OH; great grandchildren, Charlie Long, Kai Davis, Amelia Davis, Mason Davis, Everly Davis, Emerson Davis and her best friend and dog, Tootsie. Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2023, at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Letart, WV with Pastor Jason Simpkins officiating.
