            <text>Floyd L. Johnson, 95, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at his residence.  He was born on December 13, 1927 in Orleans, Indiana, son of the late Albert and Alberta Carter Johnson.  Floyd was a retired heavy equipment operator.  He was a member of IUOE Local #18  and a member of First Baptist Church in Gallipolis where he was active in the John Stam Sunday School Class.  Floyd enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he loved gardening.  Floyd was a United States Army Veteran.&#13;

Floyd married Joann Barry Johnson on December 2, 1953; and she survives him, along with one daughter, Lee Ann (Andy) Hayes of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and one son, Barry (Mikimi) Johnson of Gallipolis, Ohio; five grandchildren, Chelsea (Jaquille) Cordell, Joshua Johnson, Aaron (McKinsey) Johnson, John Hayes, and Maise Johnson; two great grandchildren, Rylee Shealey and Ava Shealey; and several nieces and nephews.  Floyd was preceded in death by several siblings.&#13;

The funeral service for Floyd will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Young officiating.</text>
