            <text>Peggy S. Besco, 73, of Crown City, passed away, at 10:10 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2020, at her residence. Born August 26, 1947 in Gallipolis, she was the daughter of the Late Melvin Barcus and Mary E. “Libby” Rollins Brown who survives. She was a retired Dietary Manager for Carehaven of Point Pleasant, West Virginia and she owned and operated the River Valley Candle Company.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Perry C. Cardwell, II, of Gallipolis, two daughters, Debbie (Buddy) Lusher, of Huntington, WV., and Cindy Besco, of Crown City, four grandchildren, Jessica Yates, Rebecca Bias, Bradley Bias, and Noah Spurlock, two great-grandchildren, Brayden Wright and Lilly Ann Bias. A brother, Harold (Debbie) Barcus, of Gallipolis, and sisters, Jessi (Frank) Esterly, of Gallipolis, and Tina Barcus, of Gallipolis and numerous nieces and nephews.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Besco, on January 15, 2001, and a brother, William “Bill” Barcus.&#13;
&#13;
Cremation services are entrusted to Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis.</text>
