            <text>Randy Glenn Syrus, 64, of Gallipolis, passed away, at 5:37 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2022, in the King’s Daughters Medical Center, in Ashland, Kentucky. Born August 8, 1958, in Gallipolis, he was the son of the late Mary L. Houck and Ernest Lee Syrus. He was a retired after forty-three years of service as a Boiler Operator for the Holzer Medical Center and he attended the Elizabeth Chapel Church.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his wife, Deanna K. Haner Syrus, whom he married on April 7, 2001, in Gallipolis, a stepson, Ryan Cisco, of Dublin, Ohio. Brothers, Rob (Cathy) Syrus, of South Vienna, Ohio, and Rick Syrus, of Gallipolis, sisters-in-law, Linda (Mike) Plymale, of Gallipolis, Anita (David) Smith, of Crown City, and Tammy Haner, of Gallipolis, several nieces and nephews, and his canine friends, Rocky and Little G. also survives.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dorothy L. and Kenneth E. Haner, a brother-in-law, Mark Haner, and his nephews, Justin Smith, Dakota Yester, and George McKinster.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be held on at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022, in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis, with Pastor Randy Carnes officiating. Interment will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Randy's memory to help the family with funeral expenses. </text>
