Mrs. Virgil Atkins presented

corsage. Mrs. Atkins made the
corsage using different colors
of mums from her garden. Mrs.
Norman Will and Mrs. Atkins
were thanked by the club lor
presenting the radio program
on the topic, "Water Conservation."
Arrangements of fall f1owers
were judged with Mrs. Herb
Zeller a guest, and Mrs. Grover Stout receiving the awards.
The program chairman, Mrs.
Atkins, gave a poem on "Excitement in the Garden." Mrs.
Pearley Nelson gave a talk on
the "Origin of our Common
Garden Vegetables." The potato originated in Ireland, the
beet in Egypt, corn was Indian
maize.
